How to Jailbreak IPhone 5, IPad 4, IPad mini and other IDevices running ios 6.0 - 6.1.2 using Evasi0n 1.4

In this post i'm going to show you how to Jailbreak your IDevices using Evasi0n 1.4

Here's a list of the IDevices that will work with this Jailbreak:

• iPhone 5
• iPhone 4S
• iPhone 4
• iPhone 3GS
• iPad mini
• iPod touch 5G
• iPod touch 4G
• iPad 4 with the A6X chipset
• iPad 3
• iPad 2

Before the Jailbreak:

• Make sure to Backup your Device to your computer via ITunes and not just via ICloud
• Download Evasi0n version 1.4 for Mac, Linux or Windows:

Windows - Download

• Make sure you're running ios 6.0 - 6.1.2

How to perform a Untethered jailbreak on ios 6.0 - 6.1.2 using Evasi0n:

Step 1: Download Evasi0n right above.

Step 2: Now connect your Device to the computer using the original 30-pin or Apple lightning usb cable.

Step 3: Then Launch the Evasi0n application and click the jailbreak button, and the jailbreak process will begin. Be patient, as this takes a while. You will notice your device reboot several times throughout the entire process. The main thing is just to be patient.

Step 4: Eventually, evasi0n will ask you to unlock your device, and tap the Jailbreak icon on your Home screen once. Follow these instructions, ensuring that you tap the icon only one time, and then leave the device alone and let it continue.

Step 5: The evasi0n app will complete its course, and you will be able to click the Exit button. The iOS device, however, still needs to finish up a few additional steps, so again, be patient and don’t touch your device.

Step 6: Eventually, the jailbreak will finish, and you can unlock your iOS device, and open the Cydia app on your Home screen. Cydia will need to initialize, which takes about 1 to 2 minutes. After the initialization is complete, the device will respring again.

Step 7: Reopen Cydia, select Hacker, and begin enjoying your newly jailbroken iOS device running iOS 6.1.2.
